The magnificent Ice Cream Morinda saw the light of day on the 17th
of May 2018. His mother, Suzy Lux Cool (who was herself much
remarked upon in CSI circles) foaled without the least problem. She
is an excellent mother with plenty of milk!
Lux Z has the reputation of producing stylish youngsters! Visage
Van de Olmenhoeve as well. It won’t astonish anyone to hear that
the foal is splendid, very well put together and with plenty of
presence. He should be tall and like Visage, is full of spirit.
Visage Van de Olmenhoeve
Suzy Lux Cool
Visage Van de Olmenhoeve, ISO 155, competed at the highest
international level, in classes up to 1.60m. He was sold as a four
year old at the Fences Elite Sales for the sum of 110,000 euros (+
charges). Trained in Australia at the home of his new owners, the
COPABELLA stud, he scorched his way to a very successful career.
After a period in France he returned to Australia where he competed
in CSO/CSI then in Dressage up until the age of 18.
His mother Suzy Lux Cool was an excellent competition mare, with a
swift action in front, and a great respect for fences; she was
ridden by her owner’s daughter. Unfortunately she was injured (and
became a brood mare) when she was going to begin in 1.40m
Suzy’s father, the famous Lux Z (son of Lord Calando) is one of the
greatest winners in the history of equestrian sport. He has an
incredible list of achievements. From 1999 to 2002 he took part in
the biggest sporting challenges : the European Championships of
1999 and 2001, the World Cup Final and the Olympic Games in 2000
and the World Equestrian Games of 2002.
That’s a father and grandfather of winners appreciated throughout
the entire world. Their offspring inherit their coats, their paces
and their exceptional distinction.
