The magnificent Ice Cream Morinda saw the light of day on the
17th of May 2018. His mother, Suzy Lux Cool (who was herself much
remarked upon in CSI circles) foaled without the least problem. She
is an excellent mother with plenty of milk!
Lux Z has the reputation of producing very chic offspring.
Visage Van de Olmenhoeve as well. We won’t be astonishing
anyone by saying that this foal is splendid, very well made and has
lots of presence. He should have good height (quite rare
amongst Visage’s offspring) and like all Visage’s foals, he has
lots of spirit and is very chic! He could well become a
Visage Van de Olmenhoeve, ISO 155, competed at the highest
international level, in classes up to 1.60m.
He was sold as a four year old at the Fences Elite Sales for the
sum of 110,000 euros (+ charges). Trained in Australia at the home
of his new owners, the COPABELLA stud, he scorched his way to a
very successful career. After a period in France he returned to
Australia where he competed in CSO/CSI then in Dressage up until
the age of 18.
His mother Suzy Lux Cool was an excellent competition mare, with
a swift action in front, and a great respect for fences; she was
ridden by her owner’s daughter. Unfortunately she was injured (and
became a brood mare) when she was going to begin in 1.40m classes.
Suzy’s father, the famous Lux Z (son of Lord Calando) is one of the
greatest winners in the history of equestrian sport. He has an
incredible list of achievements. From 1999 to 2002 he took part in
the biggest sporting challenges : the European Championships of
1999 and 2001, the World Cup Final and the Olympic Games in 2000
and the World Equestrian Games of 2002. That’s a father and
grandfather of winners appreciated throughout the entire world.
