General comments

Visage Van de Olmenhoeve, ISO 155, competed at the highest international level, at up to 1.60 m. He was sold as a four year old at the Elite Fences sales for the sum of 110,000 Euros (+ costs). Trained in Australia at the home of his owners, the COPABELLA stud, he burst onto the competition scene at the start of a wonderful career. After a period in France he returned to Australia where he competed in CSO/CSI then in Dressage up to the age of 18. Visage is typified by a degree of suppleness that is quite out of the ordinary and a superb style. I could also add that he has an excellent temperament with enormous spirit and a big heart. His offspring, stamped with his mark, inherit these characteristics. Some are beginning to emulate Apache Sunshine (ISO 148 CSO) who finished 2nd in the 6 year old championship in CCE at Pompadour in 2016. Visage returned to France in 2009 into the care of Stephan Lafouge, champion of France (2008). The partnership began by approaching the Internationals like future champions. They get on together remarkably well. The stallion is a strong horse who commands respect and has a perfect technique. He is full blooded, capable of great speed, has a wonderful mouth and is well balanced. He is always willing to try and has an enormous heart. Some have compared him with an Anglo Arabian …… Coloured (of course). He went back to Australia in 2011; This remarkably intelligent horse has already had a great deal of success as a stallion and even has a fast growing “fan club”. All those who get close to him are won over by his gentle nature and his endearing personality. Visage is a true gentleman.
