Ulyss Morinda, approved as a Selle Francais. Anglo Arab and AES
stallion, and with a CIRALE osteo-articulaire score of 5*, as well
as tested negative for PSSM1 and other ailments (see his complete
results on this page), has experienced a meteoric rise to the top
level in his sport in just three short years. This is not
astonishing if we examine his ancestral blood line which takes him
back to the famous UTRICULE (who was ridden by Marc Roguet).

2018 Season : After a first CSI at Lier, Ulyss and Rik began the
year with a roll of drums at the 3* CSI at Bonheiden. After two
clear rounds in the 1.40m, Ulyss took part in the 1.50m Grand Prix
in which he qualified for the jump off and finished second in a
field of nine that were in the jump off. It’s worth noting that he
was less than a second slower than the winner, Daniel Deusser. In
May, in the Maubeuge Grand Prix (1.55m), he proved that the height
posed him no problem. Distracted by the giant screen, he finished
with a single mistake (4 faults), but had cleared the rest of the
course by at least 10 to 15cm. Ulyss followed this by being placed
7th in a 1.50m in the 4* CSI in Bourg en Bresse then in June, he
won the first Grand Prix qualifier at the 4* CSI in Gross Viegeln
in Germany. He also took part in his first 1.60m Grand Prix and
finished with one mistake (4 faults).
His first real breeding year was the summer of 2015. Before that a
single foal was born in 2013, one in 2014 and one in 2015. In 2016,
he covered 23 mares plus some overseas and in 2017, 50 mares in
France and a few others all over Europe.
