Ulyss Morinda 2nd in the 3* Grand Prix at Bonheiden on the 1st of April 2018
Ulyss Morinda and Rik Hemeryck have started the 2018 season with a fanfare!!!!!
After a first competition at the CSI at Lier where Ulyss had two calm clear rounds over 1.35m and 1.40m, our coloured stallion took part in the 3* CSI at Bonheiden (in Belgium). He started off by being placed over a height of 1.40m. The following day he didn’t even so much as touch a pole in the second 1.40m but had just one time fault.
Finally on the Sunday Ulyss took part in the huge 1.50m Grand Prix, a Ranking C. There were 51 competitors and Ulyss and Rik produced one of only nine clear rounds!
In the jump off he pulled off a splendid and very speedy clear round which brought him second place, a bare one second slower than the winner, Daniel Deusser.
