RESULTS OF ULYSS MORINDA’S 2017 TESTS

Following many requests from breeders asking if Ulyss Morinda was negative for PSSM1, we decided to submit him to a battery of tests….it is obvious that Ulyss is in fine form but you never know, he could have been carrying a gene worth avoiding!

Here are his results (on the attached PDF) : Ulyss is NEGATIVE for all immunity problems (3 tests), for neurological problems (2 tests), for muscular problems (5 tests one of which being the requested PSSM1), and for dermatological problems (4 tests). He is perfectly healthy!

In taking the tests we have discovered that he has a double allele for Endurance/Speed (TT), which is perfect for a sports horse. And he will be passing this on to his foals as he is HOMOZYGOUS for that gene.

The tests even told us that he is quite a curious and reactive horse. There, we are verging on Science Fiction, but why not? It’s certain that Ulyss has a super personality, that he is always alert and each time gives of his best! We could say that he is “very competitive” 

You can definitely trust him with your mares!
